I have the B&M and love it. you do have to shave a little around where first gear is but otherwise that is it. the lockout they talk about is pushing down on the shifter to go into reverse but I did not experence that. The shifts are quicker and feel so much shorter and it looks great. easy install especially if you have another set of hands from above to hold the boot in place from above while you position it from below.
