did you try any of the thinner that dip yourcar.com makes?

I'm gonna be taking some stuff off this weekend and fixing a couple of small issues. ill let you all know how it works.

Also I've found the thicker you put it on, the easier it is to remove.... haven't tried it on a unfinished surface though....
