OP probably got suckered or he didn't do his homework. When I bought my Z from the dealership, I pretended to not know anything as I listened to the salesman lay down his pitch. The car was pretty much sold, I just never let on that I knew more about the car than he did. Playing stupid and being coy about purchasing made negotiating easier.
Anyhow.. a sucker is born every minute. What's the real crime here? Separating a sucker from his money or letting him keep it? I like the title of this thread, "Mislead by stupid sales rep..." LOL
