No offense intended, but the ECU has no magical ability to "relearn" anything except for the specific things that the Nissan engineers programmed it for - and I really doubt that the ECU has been programmed to "relearn" anything having to do with the steering wheel lock. And you have read the wiring diagrams,talk to techs, and determined on your own that the ECU can't relearn,
