You really have to learn how to launch the car..

I started driving manual transmissions in the 1970"s...

You learn to "haze the tires" off the line..Using the throttle and the clutch to get off the line..

Mashing the throttle will only get the results that you have been getting , wheel spin or Traction Lights blinking..

I have won and lost races in the first 100 feet...If I am looking out my passenger window to see ahead, I know I gave it too much throttle..
