Because I have SRM
and at this one particular turn, there is nowhere to slow down unless you brake in the highway lane (risking a rear end by some idiot not paying attention) or since the road veers off the highway before making about 120 degree turn you have a little bit of room to brake hard before throwing it around the corner. I've done it a handful of times and had a blast every time - closest I can come to pushing this car on public roads.
