Marriage, house (bundled policies) will help. Also if you have the means, can you get a beater and insure the Z as a secondary vehicle? The beater you use for commuting and other needs (just keep comp on it).

Just some things to play around with.

As for violations it depends on companies. Some are much better then others. Geico is not a good company once you have any incidents. Progressive can have low rates but crappy service.

State Farm, Liberty and some of the mid tier vendors are who I prefer to deal with. Once with them, they often have accident forgiveness (1 per 3-5 years) and other things. All state is expensive but good service.

Some companies have deals that give you 5-10% discounts. Mountain biker? Join IMBA and you can get the IMBA rate with Liberty. That is just one example, there are dozens out there if you do the research.

Good luck,

davidyan, given your situation I would also recommend getting a POS even if you do not drive it & have that as a primary while the Z will be your secondary. Try taking defensive driving b/c that can always help to reduce your insurance by 10-15%.

I just recently got rid of my '08 Infiniti G37S & the monthly payment was $109 a month. I put my dad as the primary driver. Now that I have the '12 Nismo I decided to put my mom as the primary driver....lol. Doing this helps to lower the cost & it is all about playing the game. I am 30 yrs old which also helps. I have awesome credit & no driving record. I try to make sure that my driving record doesn't get f'd up either. If your 25 yrs old & younger (males) you will be paying a premium since you are under the age of 25 & I believe for females if they are under the age of 21 or 23 yrs old.
