Okay on the antenna adapter that you bought there is a blue wire. That needs to be connected to the blue wire coming out of the head unit wiring harness. That tells the radio antenna to turn on. Also you have the correct wire the solid orange wire is the right one, you ran the purple with white stripe back to that and attache it to the bare wire after stripping back the insulation right? Also if you turned the interrupt on and than took your battery cable off the battery it probably reset that setting. If you still do not think you have it right take some pics and send them to me.
