This thread would be better off in the engine/ drivetrain section. I know last week another posted a concern about adding a oil cooler kit to the new 2012 OEM cooler.

You can double stack the plates and utilize the OEM plate or remove it. But I believe the problem with the other person was the OEM water lines that feed the OEM cooler plate got in the way of the aftermarket fittings. Not sure what he did in the end. It was mentioned to remove them but not sure where they feed from or how you go about that.
