The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act prevents dealerships from voiding warranties because of aftermrket parts, unless it can be proven that a failure (i.e. engine, trans, etc..) was a direct result of the part.
Unless of course the dealer is a d*ck and wants to blame your engine failure on the loss of back pressure caused by the HFC... which isn't unheard of.
