I believe you're quoting the price per imperial gallon. Assuming you paid $1.46CAD/litre, that would be $5.58 USD per US gallon.
Premium in Ottawa is currently at $1.35 CAD/litre or $5.15 USD per gallon at today's f/x rate.
Hope to burn some of it later this week when the car comes out of hibernation.
