The GTM kit (itself) in all cases was not the cause for the failures. Andrews car had other issue which caused the failure and nissan replaced his transmission under warranty (correct me if i am wrong). Andrew's is really the only transmission I have heard of having a failure. There are tons of AT cars running more HP and TQ. Z1 has a GTM TT kit with well over 10k+ miles on an automatic with an aggressive power output. You are more than safe with the GTM kits Transmission cooler is a good idea anytime you add more power on an automatic transmission.
