If you want to do something on the intake then just go with the K/N drop ins, not much money and they are close to what you will get with a full system.

If your not really going to change the whole exhaust system, then screwing with the intake really makes no sense. Its like going out for a run and putting on a jogging outfit and running in work boots, you really need to do the intake and the exhaust to experience any real world HP gains.
I agree with the intake/exhaust combo.
