had the same problem with mine when i installed it.. what i did was loosen all the bolts, then i had a friend hold the section up that goes over the crossmember.. then i tightend all the bolts starting from the back of the car and moved forward.. when i was done i had about 1/2 of clearance between the exhaust and the crossmember.. it stoped the rattle.. iv only had the exhaust on for 2 weeks and so far the rattle has not come back.. but if it does i will let you know.. but this did work for me..
