It had a makeshift plug before, and if water entered I think there is a way for it to drain because water can enter door panels through window rails.

Thanks, Steve. just wanted some opinions. Why a dealer let a PDR drill a hole in a 2011 car that only had 2000 miles on it is beyond me.
