I had my rotors/pads/fluid/lines upgraded at 30k and my pads still looked brand new. The rotors looked fine as well.

Just make sure that if you are doing something (on a track) that you don't heat up the rotors, then let them cool down too quickly. (Park the car in the rain) That's what will cause it to warp. If you feel this, go take it back out to heat them up then let them cool naturally, should help and prevent a $XXX dealer bill or replacement cost.
