You would have to be crazy to trade your 11 z on a 2012 nizmo. The nizmo is actually slight slower than a standard base model 370z in road tests. Your Basically paying $42,000 for a name plate, some body spoilers and a different exhaust, over the $36,000 sport/manual package.

Your always going to lose your ***, trading or selling a 1 yr old vehicle, on average a car or truck will lose 25-33% of its retail value in the first yr.

The standard base 370Z with the sports package is really one of the best deals going on a sports car and the nismo is just a fancy factory package, that is designed to empty your wallet quicker.

Educated or knowledgeable buyers know the standard base model with the sports package and manual are the best bang for your bucks.

Stick with what you have with only 4k miles on it and be happy with it.

I used to get caught up in the old manufacturer scams of having to have , the latest and greatest thing out, costing you much of your hard earned money. This is a really losing game and you can never really keep with it.

The best thing you can do with any vehicle you may own, is to just drive it or use it till you are really sick of it, or it just plain, wheres out, or breaks down.

In the car buying and trading game its best to drive your car for at least 4-5 yrs. or 55K miles on it before you sell it , which ever comes first. Once a car gets more than 55k miles on it or if it is really old, they will tend to sell it off to a wholesaler or auction it off. Not wanting to risk dealer repair problems.

Selling or trading a car before the 4-5 yr. rule of thumb really makes you lose a lot of money, unless you can find a private buyer or sucker to take it off your hands.
