Well I drive with a very heavy foot...and I only burned less than half a quart in 4k (edit: 3700 miles). I also pretty much ignored the break in period with a couple red lines. So I dunno....
Personally there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to who does and doesn't burn.
