Unfortunately I don't know too much about inexpensive optics
But, with that being said if I were in the market for one I would just go to Cabela's and buy it from there since they will stand behind whatever manufacturer they sell, which looks to me to be of quality.
As a casual shooter I would go for a 4-6X power scope.
