I have about 1200 miles on my Pilot Super Sports now. Last weekend I went for a mountain drive and decided to push the car in the corners to see how the tires felt at the limit. It was the first time I have ever felt the VDC kick in and actually bog the car a little like it was cutting fuel delivery. I didn't hear any tire squealing but maybe they were slipping just enough to trigger the VDC. I'll have to try again and switch the VDC off. They are a little quieter than the OEM's but I'm convinced that the noise is a combo of the tread pattern and road surface coupled with poor sound insulation. It's actually bearable on smooth asphalt but on grooved freeway surfaces which are the majority here it's still LOUD.
