Racing and risk go hand in hand whether it's modified or not...

Sure, less weight is always better, but horsepower is nice too.

That said, the stock Z has ~9.73 lbs/hp while a 500hp TT Z has 6.74 lbs/hp.

So, even with an extra 140lbs (conservative estimate), the extra power is well worth it on the TT kit.
