Good deduction, assuming that there are no other 40th produced between those VIN numbers. We know in Canada we got 120 of them and their "numbering" system is based on that. I don't think Canadians can obtain the build number /1000 through Nissan Canada.

Can you get your build date in the states?

I honestly do not think Canada's 40ths has different build#s. All 40ths (US & Canada) were made in Japan and the build#s should be based on the vin. But that's just my 2 cent.
