Thats really sad to hear.

You have definitely given them the oppourtunity to respond and resolve the issue so don't feel bad about disputing the charges if you have to.

I actually work for a credit card processor. Companies to not want chargebacks on their records.

You can call or email them one last time to advise you will dispute the charge if you feel like giving them one last chance, otherwise move forward with the dispute.

Its possible they never have stock and rely on other companies to drop ship etc, but thats not your responsibility, its theirs to make it smooth
