Sorry to hear about your incident!

I would like to say that i would replace the tire and repair the rim immediately... but the reality of it is that I am a procrastinator and a tight ***. I would probaly hand work and touch up paint the wheel un til I was ready to change the tires and then have it repaired correctly. That is provided tire didn't show any additional signs of carcas or sidewall damage.

Disclaimer- The safest thing to do is have the wheel repaired and replace the tire.

I would also keep my eye on happytheman's thread on his upcoming mobile wheel repair experience.
