The following is taken from the Nissan FSM....

< REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > [REGULAR GRADE]
CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT BLOWER FILTER
CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT BLOWER FILTER
SEAT CUSHION
SEAT CUSHION : Exploded View INFOID:0000000005473939
Refer to SE-84, "Exploded View".
SEAT CUSHION : Removal and Installation INFOID:0000000005473940
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.
1. Remove the seat.
2. Turn blower filter counter clockwise and remove it from climate controlled seat cushion blower motor.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Replacement interval: Every 24 months or 20,000km

SEATBACK
SEATBACK : Exploded View INFOID:0000000005473941
Refer to SE-84, "Exploded View".
SEATBACK : Removal and Installation INFOID:0000000005473942
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.
1. Remove the seatback board.
2. Turn blower filter counter clockwise and remove it from climate controlled seat blower motor.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Replacement interval
Blower filter replacement interval : Every 24 months or 20,000km

I am thinking with the "Gold" service plan, this should be a covered item.

I will let you know what my service advisor says...
