Default Cars & Coffee 7/30/11

Hey everyone, how's it going? Today, I attended another Cars and Coffee with my Saab friend Jeff and Paul (zero) to check out all the cars and to take a look at Jeff's new Talledega red Saab C900 SPG. We went a bit earlier this time which was a good decision as yet again, the parking lot was completely full by 7am with a solid 150 cars or so. Every show is different as different cars and car clubs show up so you rarely see the same group of cars twice.

This time, the Socal Porsche Club showed up:

Muffler bypass on a 911sc:

And a correspondingly appropriate badge:

The Hennessy Venom GT, this car has serious presence:

Beautiful 850csi, just wish it was a manual!

This is becoming a common theme among the British cars in attendance:

This Pantera looks positively evil:

As does this ZR1 Vette:

Ford GT in Gulf livery, never gets old:

The Socal Ford GT Club also came, there was a total of 19 Ford GTs in attendance. In other words, about $5,000,000 worth of cars:

Awesome E30 M3 with gold BBS wheels.

A nice Camaro owner being a jerk and taking two spots.

An original ZR1, such a beautiful shade of blue too:

A gorgeous Packard Drophead Coupe:

Classic T-Bird, always reminds me of the Beach Boys.

Christine, the evil Plymouth Fury:

Another spectacular Pantera:

This was certainly an interesting car: there was a nicely modified Wayland supercharged engine and a drivetrain to match underneath.

An artsy shot:

So gangster:

A tastefully done Ford:

And the extremely uptight cop that pulled over a number of people, first time I have ever seen them actually pull someone over and not even for doing anything reckless either.

Ford GT club heading out:

A bread wagon, I bet that would pop wheelies all day!

Beautiful Mercedes 300SL Gullwing:

A hilarious BMW Isetta in police livery, I fully expect it to chase down cars on the autobahn without a problem...

This is one of my favorite cars ever, the owner is a regular:

And to finish off, a few pictures of my Z and Jeff's beautiful new C900 SPG which he picked up for a steal. Such a clean car! Hopefully, I will help him out with a detailing session in the future.

And a video of the famous Cars and Coffee takeoff and some cruising with Jeff. Watch the beginning and another acceleration run around 3:00.

Thanks for looking as always!
