Thanks for the input. I figured dirt would get through without the oil. Think I'm gonna go with the AFE dry filters. Kinda lost my taste for the K&N. Cleaned mIne with dish soap and water in a spray bottle then reoiled em like always. Noticed a tiny bit sluggish. I knew oil had got to my mafs! Cleaned my filters again with K&N cleaner and a TON of oil came out!! My solution did not do the trick, and alot of oil remained although they looked clean If u guys decide to make your own concoction, be careful of what happened to me. Anyway, jus gonna go the dry way I not worry bout any oil any more!
