Indie label Polyvinyl are joining in the relief efforts to help with the devastation from the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan this March. The benefit compilation Japan 3.11.11 is a 23-track collection of B-sides, rarities, live performances, covers and remixes from folks like of Montreal (remixed by St. Vincent), Deerhoof, Love Is All, Xiu Xiu, Casiokids, Starfucker, Asobi Seksu, Efterklang, Shugo Tokumaru, and more. Proceeds go to the American Red Cross.
