we should all chip in and buy nick a tank of gas for his work here!!! lol
I even went as far as making him come to my house to try to get my pin in.... I got 5 on it, lol...

with the spring in there will be some play at the top thats "dead" but the spring pushes it all the way up... you cannot lift the pedal with ur foot any more than where it is on its own... BUT with the spring out , you will be able to lift the pedal a little bit where the spring would usually push it up to that point...
