cheaper
the only way u will see prices go up again is when a higher tech replacement
model of a part comes out. Which is very common in the tuner world.

The nissan part is 780 as opposed to almost the same part from stillen that
according to you is now at even a lower sales price of $425 n not $480.
I'm pretty sure the extra money u spend at nissan is to cover warranty.
N though stillen warranties parts too.
Try makin a claim thru them n see wat they tell u. Lotta loop holes there.
N as for coolers generally running 300 to 1000 bucks. Good i guess competition still
exists in america. But the focus here was about nismo have a warranteed
solution. I just mentioned the price of the same product outside of nissan
cuz tuners that do void warranty by day 3. May go to nissan to install an oil cooler
though it won't be covered due to the mods they did.
They know they can save 300 and somwhat odd dollars.
