Generally a good rule, I think. But in this instance, I do not think the 370Z is new enough to worry about it. The V6 has been around for a while in the Infiniti, and the rest of the car borrows more from the 350Z than it introduces as new. Go ahead! Get one and just enjoy it! I did and I do not regret it (yet).
