here is a walkaround of the car in platinum gray

and my driving impressions

dealer got in three on monday 2 reds and 1 of the darker grey( probably the best color ive seen in it)

so of course knowing i was the ultimate nismo Z whore in my previous life they handed me the keys while i was getting a mesh grill installed on my GTR. first of all my review is gonna be skewed by the fact that ever since getting my GTR i drive manaul like a 16 year old...anyways took it for about a 20 min drive. first thing i noticed is actually what i didnt notice.... that 18 hp really doesnt feel present and i can understand the mag reviews coming in with identical or even a tick slower 0-60s and what not. now of course the car still felt strong just as you all know a regular 370 is pretty stout. i took it on the interstate and did some quick lane changes and you CAN tell the difference in suspension feels almost the same as my NISMO 350z and ride that rough too but i dont mind rough... exhaust note to me didnt sound any different that a regular Z maybe a touch deeper...maybe

as far as the overall look. i didnt care for it in red but the grey was nice the rear bumper with the vents is nice i like it better than compared to my 350z NISMO the front i liked aswell but im in the camp that it needs the two tone darker grey color on the bottom trim.. this would really make it more aggressive and seperate it even more from the regular Z

interior was Ok.. the red stitching was similar to the 350 NISMO but in more places. nice little touches here and there. my main complaint was if your selling a car that lists for 40,060 then NAV needs to be an option .. not just for the NAV itself but the screen would just make the 40K car look more high end. but thats just preference. also a leather seat with the red stitching and a alcantra insert would have been nice to for that amount of $

so from just a gentle test drive ( the car did have 120 miles on it already ) i can tell you its not faster than the touring Z i drove a few weeks ago.. i think it looks better but 10K better i dunno thats up to the buyer.

so yeah thats about it, glad i got to drive one and would i recommend one? hmm maybe when you can buy them for 30-32K yes

questions? comments?

if anyone wants pics of the grey i can take them tomorrow for you
