From what i havevread on the net (bitog) direct injection ,while increasing power etc, really causes problems like very dirty engine internals. there was Porsche Cayenne v8 engine that looked like it was dead due to the amount of carbon buildup and it also affects Audis too. So I am not too upset that Nissan did not offer this new tech. Maybe it needs more work before Nissan will use it.
