The number on the door jam is what you want to go with as the cold pressure (that is 35 psi as already mentioned).

From experimentation at auto-x I've found the ideal hot pressure is around 38 psi front, 35 rear. The rears don't heat up as much as the fronts do, even when you try.
We have our crappy weight distribution to thank for that.
