This had me worried for a bit, because I'm actually coming to the States on Friday
We have 0 chance of any coming to Australia... from what I've been reading so far it aint anything to worry about...
I just don't like radioactive iodine being compared to an x-ray.. from my understanding, if you inhale or swallow radioactive particles they keep releasing radiation in your body and their half lives are prolonged slightly... an x-ray sends a burst of radiation your way but is ceased once it is over... so radioactive particles don't equal normal background radiation... Still I'm guessing the media has gone nuts over the slight levels in the US... it was on the news here for a while too... seems to have died down over the last week for some reason though.
