If I push it inward, it does sit flat against the bumper fascia but the part doesn't follow the line of the bumper on it's own. Hopefully the tape holds really well at the ends or this will be an issue.

I tried to install the cover today but the ends keep popping out. It's out from the bumper about an inch at both ends and when I push it flat, the 3M tape is not strong enough to hold it in place.
Does anyone have any advice? Can the piece be heated and re-shaped so that it doesn't stick out at the ends?
