Sorry for the late reply here!

1. Yes I had to pull the whole glove box out. Was a 15 min job start to finish to install, taking my time.

2. The Nissan part number in the pic is correct but trust me when I say its a piece of flimsy paper and is not worth putting a new one in, especially since Nissan charges like $30-$40 for one for just the part.

PS - A fun note about Amazon.com is that you can test out their Prime free two-day shipping for a month when you order and get the filter on your door in two days. BUT, you still get your free two day shipping that one time.

only works once but I got mine in two days at no additional charge, its great!
