Anybody ever had a issue with the costumer service of Z1?
My situation I ordered the S-tune side skirts 29 May 2013. About 2 weeks after I log on the website and it says contact costumer. So I call Z1 being I am deployed and the number they have on file is cut off while I am overseas. I asked about my order and they say they are trying to locate a set in the good o US of A. I was ok with this being I will not be able to drive my car or install anything until August. Well another couple of weeks go by and I decide to call them again to check on order. They mentioned they supposedly received a set in but came in damaged. I was like you got to be kidding me. I was ok cool no problem I will wait. Well July rolls around and I start to wonder if I will ever get a ETA for this item. I called and Z1 said they are placing a order with Nissan in Japan to get these items and could take 4-6 weeks to produce. I decided through email that it is no longer worth the wait. They mentioned through email they will cancel the order and give me 560.00 dollars credit being I already paid for the item. Ok awesome. Well I sent them a email and told them go ahead and send me the Z1 HFC's and ill credit the rest. Well after multiple emails I never received anything back. No credit has been issued the order still says contact customer So I attempt to call them multiple times but being 8 hours ahead it makes it difficult with work and sleep. Just wanted to see if anybody else had a issue with Z1. |
This has been put in the vendors section so they can reply, And members chime in on their service which up to now? Has been pretty good.

I have only purchased small items but Shanna always sends an email checking on it and my satisfaction w the product, shipping times etc....your problem confuses me.

I've had numerous transactions go very smoothly with them. Never a single issue.

I have ordered close to 3K worth of stuff from them and never had a issue..

This is my 10th order or so with them and also spent 1000's of dollars with them. Usually no issue! Very smooth transaction. But this order has left a sour taste in my mouth. I just wanna see my account have a credit and my order of HFC be sent out. But it just seems like the email department is lacking in personal to operate and email back to me in a timely manner.

And I am not bashing Z1 I just hope the person who monitors this forum for them emails me and gives me some answers or updates.

I've also ordered numerous items from Z1, mostly when I was stationed in Germany, and never had issues. Although there was a time when the extended studs I purchased were missing from the box. I called them and they immediately shipped the missing items.

Why don't you just call them?

I've had a few transactions with them. Service is A1.

I work while everyone in America is awake. I get off and everyone in America is off.
I have to rely on crappy Internet in Kuwait to connect me through Skype to Z1. So it makes its tough to do working 7 days a week. So I rely on e-mail. |

I have only ordered from Z1 once, but probably won't again. I posted the following in response to another member that had a similar problem to mine, and as far as I know it was never resolved either.

I do apologize for your issue. I have been aware of your order and the issues we have had with acquiring the product you ordered. We ordered your skirts and they did indeed come in damaged. The replacement skirts were ordered then and as with everything we have had to order from Japan recently there is excessive delay. I do understand your request to cancel and agree. I have very little to do with the correspondence with customers but I do know we have three guys dedicated to answering emails as soon as possible. Not sure where this email chain has gone but I do know if you contact Chuck or myself directly we will take care of this issue immediately. This also goes for everyone else reading this, if you have any issue that may seem to take longer than expected to resolve please feel free to contact either of us directly by phone or email. As with the majority of us here at Z1 our email addresses are our first name @z1motorsports.com. Please keep us updated as to how this goes or if it has been resolved since I am typing this at the house and cannot confirm any details with the sales staff. |
Update
I emailed my brother while I was at work and had him call Z1 for me. I don't know what he did or maybe it was this post. But I have been credited the difference after my order for the HFC's was subtracted and finally received a e-mail from Chuck at Z1. Stating my order will ship out next week. Like I said I don't wanna come off as I am bashing Z1. They have done outstanding in the past but the lack of email and my money just sitting around wasn't making me a happy customer! |

Just to add, Red it bites that you had this issue but Z1 has worked wonders for me while i was in Afghanistan myself and having issues. Im back at my home station now but if you need anything at all brother ill help out in a heartbeat. Z1 is now my primary source of parts...i just bought my HFCs through them.
