Past 4/5 times I’ve phoned- got someone on the phone I’ve never heard of...so I kindly ask to speak with Russ,Jon,Spencer or Joel.....”they’re all busy; can I help you?”
I ask to have one of them return my call (as I’ve spent well over 5k with them in the past).
“Ok,will do”.....never here back :shakes head:
Sad :ugh2:

In addition to not returning calls, I've had them ignore emails as well. Just no response. Follow up emails confirm they received my email but by then it was too late for my business.

I stopped using them when they put their FUCA's out and they come apart the first time which was due to them using the wrong Thread locker, (so they say) but caused damage to my Z. Then they actually broke with in the first year with street driving, Again causing damage to my Z. They did sell me the SPL version and gave me a small discount and credited me for their defective product. NEVER again will I give them my hard earned money NEVER. Which is too bad since I hear their 2 piece rotors are decent. I have their Rear diff cover and happy with it, but between their sub par customer service and releasing products that are a bad design or not tested correctly I refuse to deal with them.

Meh. Not for track use. I bought a used set. That was used on the track. Microcracking was :ugh: Looking to sell the set to a street driver and buy a set of Racing Brake 2 pc rotors for proper track use :twocents:

Sounds about right.
How many posting comments on Z1 have actually been to their retail store?
I have quite a few times over the years.
What has happened?Maybe has gotten too large with not enough personnel
or systems.Guys on the phone behind the service counter. You wait...
Add that to many that just don't care.
They have gone from all true car guys that take the time to,you never know
what you will get.

Bumping a 1 year old post so people can see NOT to order from Z1 EVER. I am so shook that they have such good reviews.

I had the "pleasure" of dealing with their customer service/sales reps, 3 of their reps responded to me at different times. All of them unwilling, unresponsive, not helpful. They are eager to take your money, then you don't exist after.

Long story short, moved into a condo building and I needed coils to raise my car URGENTLY as I was too low on springs. Haven't been able to drive my car for a month(I daily my car). I informed and made sure they were aware of my situation BEFORE I MADE THE ORDER and I wanted to pay for OVERNIGHT EXPRESS SHIPPING. They guaranteed that they would get it faster to me than any local stores I go to. Especially in my situation. (I'm in Canada)

I just lost out on $400 and 1 month of wait time. Made an order for KW V3's in July. They were not able to get my KW V3's ordered, and are not giving me a full refund.

After a full month of exchanging emails, asking for updates, and ensuring I will get it soon. I finally got a date and they told me it would be shipped to them by "Aug.16th" GUARANTEED, then shipped to me directly after. When the date comes, I had to email them multiple times to get an answer, and they responded with "so, we are not getting any shipment of this until POSSIBLY the end of next month" I complained for a full refund and they gave me a partial refund. Then they told me to call my credit card company if I want the rest of the refund.
Rude as hell as well -- started by calling me by my first name and all friendly while inquiring, then my name changed to "Sir." as soon as I was upset because they said it would be shipped by "Aug.16" but wasn't and told me the day of, that they are not getting any shipment until another 2 months later.

I had ordered from them before, and had a cart list of items I was going to order from them in the future..Never again.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

They are more active on FB now, so you may want to share your experience on the various Z groups, or more specifically, their Z1 FB group page.

Whew, I feel like I just dodged a bullet as I was about ready to place a first order ever with them, albeit a very small one ( a FairladyZ emblem). I'll go to a different vendor.

Never have had problems buying parts or small stuff like emblems from them over several years. Recently bought their rear diff bushings, Injen air filters, etc. No problems. You only hear about problems on these sites. Not saying they are the greatest. Their shipping charges are high. But whenever I ship something to somebody, like if I sell something on eBay, the cost to ship is astronomical these days.
