ce28 on brilliant silver

Thinking about getting some volk ce28s on my silver 370z, what color is the best? and what offset should I be looking at? I was thinking about the gunmetal or gold colored, but i couldn't find any pictures with similar setup.

Another question, I believe I need new tires with the news wheels correct? and what is the price range on the 19" ce28s?

on my silver cars i use grayscale colors...so gray, graphite,
satin silver, hyper silver, etc. for my aftermarket wheels. heck
i own 3 silver cars...lol not that silver is my favorite color or anything.

i choose car color after looking at the car.

gun metal some times has a greenish/brownish hue so not sure
if you want that or not. probably best to look at the actual thing
before purchase.

polar: there are lots of vendors on the forum. PM one of them to get a price quote on the ce28s (i think Lou even has a for sale thread in the wheels/tires section for them)

as for color, i've always been a fan of darker rims, so i'd go gunmetal, but that's just my opinion :)

since you have brilliant silver.... next brightest colour to IP.... you can use black rims nicely

Color is preference but probably a +22 offset or maybe a +12 in the rear

thanks for the input, because tires are so expensive i was thinking about using the stock tires on new rims, I looked up the specs for re050 for 245/40 and 275/35 on tirerack, it says the 245/40 would fit 9.5 wheels and 275/35 fits 10.5 wide wheels, so if i get 19" 10.5 and 19" 9.5 rims, the tires should fit correct?

kenchan 10-05-2009 02:02 PM

stock RE050's will fit the 9.5" and 10.5" the rear's going to have a nice stretch too. :)

btw, make sure your local tire store has the correct equipment to mount 19's. a lot of time they scratch your rim.

mounter: Hunter TC3000/TC325

just to confirm: yes the RE050s will fit.

thanks phelan... lol

Thanks for the info, never thought about that possibility, but now I know to look out for it.

Hunter Roadforce GSP9700/DSP9000

You need somewhere that has a reverse mount tire machine.
