Average miles to expect from OEM tires..

I have 12k miles on the OEM tires on my 2013 base with sports pkg. I do not track or do anything drastically different. I am just an aggressive driver on city streets and highways. How much can I expect?

I live in the lower Midwest. Winters do not see too much snow (about 12 inches each winter) but temps average between 20-45.

If the OEM tires are summer tires, I am wondering if I should buy the Blizzaks or whether a good all season performance tire is the way to go.

Suggestions/ recommendations?

I personally got 28k off them, but shouldve changed them around 24. I drive spirited and here and there spin the tires and have fun. My fronts went way before the rears tho because of hard cornering I guess.
As far as the winter goes, they're horrible lol. Got caught in a snow storm one day and slid the whole way home, a 45 min drive took me about 3 hours.
Get some blizzaks or avoid the bad weather haha. In wet they're great no complains, just snow.

36,200 and counting. I mostly drive like a granny but enjoy the occasional twisties. I'll be getting new tires in a couple of months.

Is it a better deal to have summer and Blizzaks or good all season tires in places like mine, lower Midwest, temps between 15-35 but not too much snow?

I bought mine with 12k miles and they had been changed already so I'm not entirely sure how the previous owner drove the car they were apparently elderly from what u was told. 12k or so for me

I live in KC MO...get snow tires and summers. All seasons suck during winter and they suck during summer. These cars have a lot of low end torque and all season tires during the slushy/icy winters on a rwd car WILL get you stuck...

I have an AWD car as well and don't even trust that with all seasons...it's not about being able to get moving (that will always eventually be possible) it's about what happens when you step on the brakes...nothing stops in the cold like good winter tires

My wife got 10K out of the stock RE050s with me beating on them during the weekends occasionally. Plenty of better options with as much grip and much better tread wear.

You drive like a granny and I drive like a pastor.

20k to 30k is what you will probably get. I changed mine at the 23k mark. Rears were done and fronts had about 5k left.

Im currently still using my stock base wheels and my car has 36xxx miles. Gonna need new tires soon

I got about 28k out of my old REO50A's

If you keep up with your alignment, rotations, and tire pressures you can get a long tire life

I got about 23K out of the OEM's, autocross, aggressive driving, rears went first.
Winter the summer tires are out, spend most of the time in GA, and I watch when I go North to Ohio with the Z, because the tires do no like the cold in the winter months
