PLEASE HELP!!! (I tried searching)

For the rear:
19x11+15; If I run a 305, how much camber will I need at stock ride height? I want as close to none as possible.
What if I'm lowered like an inch?

Thank you! :tiphat:

Without any research and "personal info" I can tell you I run a 20x11 +5 with a 295 with -3.2 camber. Hopefully that gives you a slight idea of what you might be getting yourself into.

That helps a bit, thank you :tiphat:

Anyone else?

Not 100% on the ?? But a 10.5 +15 is only 7mm less which you really aren't going to notice, here's that at stock ride height...These are only 285's though but again splitting the distance for the tire is 10mm each side which is going to be hard to notice specially since the wheels wider making the tire look shorter than if you installed a 305 on a 10.5 wheel. Side by side I don't think its going to be that far off from this pic. Any camber will be fine.

k, this question makes no sense... re-phrase?

LostSol 08-27-2014 09:14 AM

It depends on the tire. I have an 11" rear with 305 Hankook V12s and im at around -2 in the rear but would be fine with less. Hucky on the other hand has the same size rears but with 305 PSS' which have much wider actual tread, and id say -2, maybe -1.5 is the lowest he will be able to go.

I thought it was straight forward.

At stock ride height, how much camber will I need to fit a 19x11+15 with 305/30-19 tires?

What about it I'm lowered an inch

What's your offset? (And I'm running RS3s)

Im on Swifts FYI,

Just sold my AG's, but they were:
Front was a 19x9.5 +20 w 255/35R19 V12
Rear was a 19x11 +18 w 305/30R19 V12

Fronts were tight even with a skinny 255, rear I had plenty of room but i had 3mm of extra clearance (which isnt much really) from offset, and the V12 is a skinny tire.

New wheels which should be here by next week (or Im gonna call Jason from GYW every hour on the hour until they are) are as follows:

19x10 +30 w 275/35R19 PSS
19x11 +18 w 305/30R19 PSS

Im gonna shoot for optimal street camber of -1.6 front and -1.0 rear with my new camber arms.

There we go, that's really helpful

I spent a gross amount of time doing calculations to make sure these new wheels would fit right.

Right now I'm on Nismos with the 305s, and according to calculators I'll be sticking out 14mm more, and I can't see 14mm more being able to fit... And I already have some camber, IIRC 1.5-2 degrees

LostSol 08-27-2014 09:38 AM

19x11 +15 with a 305 RS3 tread width 11.4" -2 deg of camber should get you to fit if youre dropped an inch. PSS have a tread width of 12.1" and barely fit at that point, so you should be good

LostSol 08-27-2014 09:39 AM

oh and FYI i had my camber readings switched, -1 Front and -1.6 Rear is optimal.

your suspension follows the same camber angle progression as it compresses.
whether you're stock or lowered the amount of initial camber is the same to fit, no?
