What kind of wheels are these?

Hello everybody,

Can anyone tell me what wheels are these and how much they cost? Do they need some kind of spacer or do they fit like this from the box? I found this picture (attached) from Instagram.

kenchan 07-10-2014 04:53 PM

ce28n volk

or some replica. :icon17: haha

cooltoy 07-10-2014 05:25 PM

That was a tough one.

MagmaRed370z 07-10-2014 05:49 PM

So, what is the offset that I will be looking for when buying wheels? I want them to be flushed just like the picture.

LMAO, yeah, right?

OP, they are discontinued in 19". There's a used, and non-factory powdercoated set for $3500 right now. That's a really shít price... Look for $2000-2500. I was going to sell my rare/mint CE28N Time Attacks for about the price that guy is asking. And as for sizing/offset/fitment; most you'll find are 9.5/10.5 +22 all around or +22/+15 respectively.

Personally, I wish they were +30/+22 so I can fit more tire!

Depends on whether you are lowered, and what your definition of flush is.

MagmaRed370z 07-11-2014 12:01 AM

Flushed like it does not stick out of the fender (or very little)

bacalhau16 07-11-2014 12:34 AM

Are you referring to the rim or the tire being flush to the fender? Do you plan on stretching the tire or have an appropriate setup?

cooltoy 07-11-2014 12:54 AM

That and are you lowered?

MagmaRed370z 07-11-2014 12:54 AM

I hate when the outside of the rim/tire stick out of the fender (on the outside) or even worse when it goes inwards. (not talking about when it goes up the fender ie : lowered)

MagmaRed370z 07-11-2014 12:55 AM

No, I'm bone stock

More like this. Perfectly flushed with the fenders.

cooltoy 07-11-2014 01:09 AM

So you and I are the same.

Assuming you can find these wheels in 19" (as De0.50 said, the largest they come in now is 18") and assuming you can find these offsets, you want 9" wide up front with with offset of around +32 and 10.5" in the rear with an offset of around +22. This will put the rims 5-7 mm inside the edge of the fender. The tires wil bulge out some around the rim, to make it all look flush.

MagmaRed370z 07-11-2014 01:12 AM

Awesome, thanks cooltoy, that's too bad they don't come in 19 anymore...

cooltoy 07-11-2014 01:14 AM

Keep an eye out for used ones I guess.

Does your car have sport brakes?

Good thread to read. kenchan at his best.

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...decisions.html

MagmaRed370z 07-11-2014 01:16 AM

It does not. It has the regular breaks

cooltoy 07-11-2014 01:18 AM

Then you will not have issues with fitting the breaks behind the wheel.

The rims I really wanted in the offset I needed would not with the bigger sport breaks.

MagmaRed370z 07-11-2014 01:22 AM

That sucks, so you have to find a different offset and different wheels then right.

cooltoy 07-11-2014 01:23 AM

This is the set De was talking about, if you decide to pull the trigger, PM me and I can calculate how they wil fit. The rear looks good, but I don not know what offset a 9.5" front needs.

I did.

They were originally my first choice, but I found ones I liked more, so they became second and now are the only choice.

Contact Jason at GETYOURWHEELS, maybe he can hook you up. Tell him you want a similar fitment to what I was looking for.

There are also other similar looking wheels. Advans or there are CE28N knock offs.

VarrsToen and Rota make copies, but use at your own risk.

^^ right on.

if you want, you can also run 9.5" up front with 38-41mm offset.

but dont kid yourselves. if you're really going for looks, lower your ride and
go with a tad more aggressive offset. :D

Did you sell your Volk C28N?
If you did why? I like them better on your car than your nismo wheels now.
But thats me.
