On a red z, I don't picture the little "nuggets" matching.

Yessir.

I think one without the studs would be better for red.

Studs would go with black, white, and silver/gray.

kdo2milger 09-13-2009 01:20 PM

meh...i think they are small enough that they may not be that noticable...dunno though

frost 09-13-2009 01:23 PM

I have the studs on my 350 rims, they are an absolute nightmare to keep clean. Probably wouldnt be as bad on a black rim, but on my chrome ones, I'd prefer to swallow a shotgun blast than clean the rims.

ouch  that would be hard to swallow...

still these look easier to clean than the stock sport rims...my hands cant get into some spots to get all the brake dust out

I've had those studs and found them a PITA as well.

I suggest waiting for the concave's...if you have to have this I'd say gloss black with red, and see if you can get the studs gloss black as well.

Caravanshaka 09-13-2009 01:45 PM

or go with the 087's that just came out in a gloss black, those would be sexy

ive never had these type of rims before...

why do you all say they are a pita to clean, i mean whats the worse part about cleaning these verses lets say stock sport rims?

i dont like the look of the 86's but the 87's show potential...

nogoodname 09-13-2009 01:47 PM

go with VVS-085..... similar but cleaner look

get machined with black lip

Caravanshaka 09-13-2009 01:47 PM

brake dust gets stuck in the little holes of the studs and no rag can clean all the way around the inside of them. You pretty much have to get about 10 Q-tips for each car wash and take a q-tip to each one to get all he brake dust out.
