If a Ford Focus came in 6th place in a test of 8 economy-cars, that must be good right? Cause there has to be at least a couple hundred cars out? :rofl2:

BTW, the post above with a bunch of Falken-sponsored cars is a big win. :ugh2:

Which model Falkens were tested? And yes they picked 9 tires, presumably the 9 that are likely to score well, so that people would know what tires would be good to actually purchase, being that there are probably hundreds to choose from.

Yes if they took the 8 top rated budget economy cars and tested them and Ford came in 6th thats not bad, there are lots of choices out there for economy cars, way more than 8. Hell, I'd be flattered to even be considered in the top 8! :D

Oh and what does age have to do with Falken 452s as the OP originally asked about? I don't see how the two correlate? Explain that too while you are at it since you are apparently the go to guy for tires...:ugh2:

Oh and in case you were confused, the "PS2s" that you keep talking about as being amazing.. are Michelin but you posted a picture of Bridgestone. I posted Falkens because we are talking about Falken Tires. The pictures just go to show what a company you'd deem a "budget company" with "budget tires" can do. Their tires must not be worth a damn if they are sponsoring all these drivers in competitive motorsports.

These are tires that come from the factory on some of the word's premier sports/exotic-cars, and downgrading from that level is quite laughable.

So you are saying that if the tire isn't a "PS2s, RE050A PPs, F1 GS-D3s, PZeros" then it's a step down? You don't mention RE-11s?

You keep dodging my questions.

I've listed them all out for you because I thought maybe you might have just missed them. :D

Is this sarcasm or are you just biased to performance tires because they make you look cool and compensate by saving $10 on pads?

Since you are sooo performance oriented why don't you get some excellent pads to match those PS2s? I'd recommend a set of Carbotech Brake Pads. You should definitely get some of their XP10s for the fronts and some XP8s for the rear. They might get a little noisy when you come to a stop but they won't fade at all and their initial bite is going to be great! I also hear they might dust your wheels a bit but hey, they will save you a ton in stopping distance as you race to beat that red light when you are heading to the grocery store.

I'm sure these would work much better than the cheap stuff you get at AutoZone so check it out. We have sponsors here that sell them. I'm sure they could get you a great price and some quick shipping.:tiphat:
