Hi guys, I have a question that I haven't found an answer for so far. I've got a 14 base model 370Z and I was wondering if I could use my base OEM lugs with the OEM Sport Rays?

If "Washer" type most likely the same.

I've got a set on order, they expect them in 2 to 3 weeks.

Excalibur 788 $2.69 Lug Nut Washers Tapered/Flat Adapter Style
Excalibur 787 $2.69 Lug Nut Washers Tapered/Flat Adapter Style

I think most aftermarket lugs have a 60 deg seat so the first adaptor should work. The only problem as discussed in the definitive lug nut thread is will there still be enough bite with the adaptor.

Im hoping some one has some aftermarket lugs around and can try out a few to let us know! Im thinking about it but I don't have any aftermarket lugs.
So has anyone actually used these?

I just got new wheel studs (https://www.z1motorsports.com/brakes...ds-p-5410.html) and although I am about to get new wheels, I'm still running the stock base wheels at the moment and plan to keep the stock wheels with all-season tires (for backup/winter).

The only way the shop was able to get my wheels back on was to cut the lugs (converted the closed lugs to open lugs).

This works and keeps the wheels on safely, but:
  1. It doesn't really look that great; I would prefer some proper open lugs that the studs don't stick through.
  2. Makes the wheels too easy to steal since cutting the lock lug wasn't going to work (I have 5 "normal" lugs with the ends cut off).
  3. Requires me to keep an additional set of lugs around

So I was hoping I could buy the Gorilla washer adapters and a new set of aftermarket lugs and then I just have to keep the washer adapters around if I want to mount the stock wheels.
