G27 Light Prism

1 Attachment(s)
6 months later they finally arrived! Rays G27 Light Prism in 19", though they don't have very aggressive offsets I'm really happy I went with them. The finish is amazing, in direct sunlight the prism really shows. In shade they look like silver brushed wheels. Can't wait to get some tires for them. I'll take more pics tomorrow and post up to show.

They are for sale and can be found here: http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...ht-silver.html

Probably not going to be able to get tires mounted up until next weekend. But will ASAP! Will also do a short video to show how these look rolling which might be interesting.

Nissanboy 04-24-2014 12:01 AM

What offsets did you get?
what tire size you going with?

9 1/2 +38 Face 1 (265\40)
10 1/2 +25 Face 2 (295\35)

Once I get camber where I want it I'll know what size spacers to run. Front will probably be around 10mm, rear around 8mm.

Front might need a spacer (up to you) rear is fine

Can you get more shots up of them even just in the box?

<-Is a wheel whore :yum:

XPNSD IT 04-24-2014 11:56 AM

Yes I will take some more pics today once I get home!

FairladyZ10PG 04-24-2014 02:21 PM

I'd like to recommend 15mm in front instead of 10mm

I hate you. I learned about this finish recently and I'm dying for them

axmea? 05-14-2014 11:54 PM

Congrats. This finish is not easy to make it look good on photos. Gotta see it in person to really appreciate its beauty.

Just saw this finish in person for the first time today. It was absolutely amazing!
Took some pictures but like you said you said it doesnt come out well in photos.
The photos do show some of the prism effect but not even 50% of how it looks in real life!

With your resources, you should be able to come up with your proprietary prism finish. Call it Kickstart Prism. And when you do, I'll turn in my Avant Gards and have the barrels done.

Jordo! 05-15-2014 03:18 AM

Looks good.

XPNSD IT 05-15-2014 09:20 AM

Thanks all, Ill be sure to take some pictures this weekend in sunlight, to really show that finish.

We were actually thinking of that. We brought the wheel over to our finishers to see if we can reverse engineer the finish. We'll see what they say!

Waiz 05-15-2014 12:07 PM

In for pics not in the shade :)

I'll post some shortly! They're not great photos, but they do show some of the prism effect.

GetYourWheels 05-15-2014 01:41 PM

Heres a photo!
I had it edited a bit to show off the prism effect more, so this looks closer to what it looks like in real life!
