Best of Both Worlds...

I love the look of VIP style wheels...
But... I also Love the Look of Rays titanium coated wheels... GUESS WHAT! I can now have BOTH! :excited: Rays owns a company called Black Fleet (luxury VIP wheels) and one of their newer wheel styles offers the Titanium lip. http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/emenu/da...70_V810/01.jpg So let me know what you think... Do you like it? |
i think vip looks terrible on sporty cars.

they can look good except the titanium lip

Well I have studied how wheels look according to fenders and car styles (not scientifically). I believe that these will look good on my PW 370z based on a few observations: the multiple long spokes and deep dish will make the car look wider than it really is just like work vs-xx's do to the 350z. These will be sized accordingly F 20 x 9.5 et+15 (3" lip) R 20 x 10.5 +14 (5.5" Lip and lowest offset offered).
The black and silver spokes will have a nice contrast over my Alliance Red BBK and the titanium colors will really POP on the white. Keeping the wheels tucked will really set it off with a nice deep clean look. |
Not a fan of the Titanium lip either, the rims themselves are badass though.
|
Not my style, but a little bit of tuner with a whole lot of VIP just might work.
|
The rims are clean and I am partial to the diamond cut/black finish (my Work Wheels on my car are the same finish) but the titanium lip is sometimes hard to pull off. I think with the right stance it can work.
|
I hate it, but I dislike both of the styles you're combining there.
|
I'll like sporty rims for a car like this. I'm not much into the VIP rims myself, but of the two posted, I like the one without the Ti lip better I think.
