Mystery Wheel?
I remember a couple years back, they were having a group buy on another forum I frequent on 2 kinds of Volks, one was the TE-37 and another was a 5-spoke. From that moment on, I never saw those volk wheels again. I've tried looking everywhere and I am starting to think I was seeing things.
They look like this, minus the chrome and rivets in the back though, just a nice simple 5-spoke design http://www.carshine.com.au/Wheels/Wh...95R%5B1%5D.jpg Does anyone know what it might be, or at least a similar wheel from a very reputable company like Volk, Advan, etc, that isn't expensive as HRE? |
Ask Sharif @ Forged Performance
He's a Volk dealer and may lead you in the right direction. He's a vendor/sponsor on the board. Good luck! |
The only five spoke Volk Racing wheels that come to mind are the GTS and the GTC, but being from the GT series, they are both multi piece wheels, so they look nothing like the TE37. They both have the whole riveted look.

GTS spokes are too small, the ones I am looking for are thick like the ones in the picture. Doesn't have to be from Volk, just some other reputable wheel company that is around Volk prices.
The GTC wheels have too much going on. Reason I like the design of the wheel I put a picture of, is because its simple, easy to clean, and looks great. |
SSR Type-C RS?
|
Enkei FN01R-C
Desmond Regamaster AME Circular Spec R DAMD Lover Soul Work Meister S1 2p/3p ... that's all I can think of that's a "clean" five spoke wheel. |
Repped for the effort. Those AME's look really good though
|
I think Axis also had a set of 5 spokes like the ones in the first post, but it might have been for a very short time?
|
HRE M45/M47
360Forged MB 5ive/Straight 5ive/Spec 5ive Axis Super Hiro I'm running out of ideas haha. |
Venaci VS124
Venaci Spirit Vossen VF-087 That's what I found looking through this forum. |
That Axis Super Hiro is basically it. Too bad the wheel isn't forged. Thanks for the effort though bro, you can take it easy now you crazy bastage! lol :tiphat:

Volk LMGT4 http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...675dscf317.jpg http://www.erautobedrijf.nl/webshop/...Rays_Nismo.jpg |
nogood: Those aren't the ones, but I have to admit they look good. Just not my style though.
Togo: That's basically it, but I thought they stopped making those? Don't know whats the deal with those extra lug nut holes though. |
I don't believe they are actually lug nut wholes but just styling. the CE28s have them as well. I'm not sure about whether they are still being produced. Your best bet might be to head on into the sponsors section and look for Forged Performance. They are the largest Volk distributor in the US and if anyone can get you a set, it's likely to be them.
http://www.the370z.com/forged-performance/ Here is their section. You can just PM any questions you have to them. I'm sure they'll be able to help you with getting hte proper offsets, colors, and availability of everything. FWIW, they still list them on their website. http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html Products>RAYS Wheels>Nismo (on left hand side menu)> LMGT4 |
Seems like a few websites are still selling them. I thank you sir :), repped.

your search description is quite broad...
instead of searching for the exact one i can make some suggestions for you to research. assuming you prefer five spoked wheels you can look into: - gram lights produces a number of strong lightweight wheels, same manufacturer as volks, numerous classic five spoke designs, although iirc most of their wheels only go up to 18 inches - work meister s1 2 piece wheels, the 3 piece s1s have rivets - jline 5rl2 - fikse profil 5 the rest i can think of are either out of you search conditions or too pricey keep us updated on your search! i love simple five spoke wheels too so please post photos of whatever wheel you end up deciding on. good luck |
these are HRE's
|
Don't know if you were still wondering but yes they are HRE's, 895R to be exact.
|
DPE RO5's, called wheelsdirectonline.com, they are really not that expensive at least from those guys, Definately saving up now as I know my goal hahah. Get something different, volks are everywhere, though still sexy.

Maybe you meant rays engineering, they make a lot of brands. Try looking at their website you can get info on current and old wheels.

|
Does anybody know what wheels these are? They look like Volk G7's, but I don't think they are. Hmmm...

i think they are G7's
|

http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...20/R05Side.jpg Found it ::: Lowest Prices & FREE SHIPPING!! ::: on DPE R05 wheels! here, and I am at a loss for words of how many wheels I have looked at, trying to find what I want. |

Not a fan of the advans, I dont know, something about flat spoked wheels on this car just dont look good to me. Concave wheels or a little bit of a curve like venacis spokes have, or the Dpe's, just something, this F7 doesnt do it for me.
