GTR Rims?

Thinking about taking the plunge and buying a set of oem gtr rims for my 370z. My question is will the tpm still work and would the sport rim center caps fit into the gtr rims? The oem gtr rims I am looking at on ebay have no center caps.

Yes

COSMO 12-31-2013 10:58 PM

Yes to both questions?

No offense, but why GTR wheels? So many better options out there IMO..

COSMO 12-31-2013 11:25 PM

Well to be honest I like to be somewhat subtle and I think the 20' wheels with the swift springs would look pretty good. Also on my black z I think the wheels would look Sick...!!!

I like the look. If you're getting a good deal on them, go for it!

I think GTR rims quite heavy, may blunt the performance...

Yeah, GTRs can't get out of their own way.

They're two pounds heavier in front and four in the rear than sport wheels.

:iagree: they look odd on the z imho too.

at least there are tires that fit our cars in 20" size that can handle the load weight on the front.

wow, that's is heavy. for dressup that's fine, but too heavy to put on my Z for sure. :ugh:

if only my Z had the torque of a GTR. :icon17:

They're not my first choice, but they're still a hell of a lot lighter than most of the aftermarket wheels that people here slap on their cars.

R35 GT-R front tire and wheel weight | Nissan GT-R : Since 2007

R35 GT-R rear tire and wheel weight | Nissan GT-R : Since 2007

Anyone have a compare to our sport/nismo rims?

Chuck33079 01-01-2014 09:47 AM

GTR Rims?

From memory, sport wheels are 23-24 lbs. the GTR wheels aren't that heavy, but the OEM run flats are really heavy. With regular tires it's probably a wash.
